From the time we reached the airport things went like clockwork, met the Doctor in the airport, hugely professional but became one of the … More gang from the off and but for him, some may not have made summit, he was fantastic on the night. I genuinely think that Earth's Edge have to be the best in the business. Sam and all the gang in the Earth's Edge team in Ireland made everything so easy and straightforward and any question that we had before, during and after the expedition was answered immediately. The Wicklow training weekend was great, we got to meet most of the people before the trip which helped break the ice and to give us a brief on what to expect. Questions around food, cold weather, wet weather, toilet, hygiene and welfare facilities, all answered before we went and exactly as was described and managed when we got there. The local team of guides and porters in Kilimanjaro were unbelievable, helpful, courteous and as I say unbelievably knowledgeable from the minute we met them at the airport in Kilimanjaro, right up to the day we were coming home and asked somebody to bring us around Arusha for a look. The level of attention to detail and friendliness was amazing, as was their singing. Bottom line, I couldn’t recommend Earth's Edge enough, every detail is thought of and managed, a stressless experience. Benny

I recently completed a trip to Kilimanjaro with Earths Edge and I have nothing but good things to say about their operation.From the very start of signing up the team are supportive and available, offering video conference chats for any … More questions, they provide a discount card to buy gear from The Great Outdoors store and walk you though getting prepared every step of the way.The training weekend in Glendalough 2 months before the trip is a great opportunity to ask questions to guides who have done the trip already as well as a chance to meet some of the people who will be going with you on your adventure.Once in-country the excellent experience continues and gets better. We were met at the airport by our expedition leader (Freddy) who took us to our hotel and gave us a brief on what to expect over the coming week. Once on the mountain the entire team of guides, porters, cooks etc. are so supportive, happy and helpful, they give you energy to tackle anything. The food served at each camp is truly amazing given the remoteness of the camps, so tasty. On summit night the support team did everything possible to help us all get to the top, singing constantly to keep spirits high in the darkness.This was the trip of a lifetime for me and I am so pleased that I went with Earths Edge, it's hard to imagine anything they could have done better.
