Trekking to Everest Base Camp

This 16-day itinerary takes you on the historic trek through the Khumbu Valley to Everest Base Camp (5,364m), sitting at the foot of Mt Everest (8,848m) – the world’s highest peak. It’s one of the most iconic treks on the planet, and for good reason.

Moving at a slow, steady pace we’ll trek through traditional mountain villages, taking time to connect with the landscape and the people who call it home. Nights are spent in welcoming local tea houses, with time to explore the bustling market town of Namche Bazaar, visit the Sherpa Museum, and stand beside the statue of Tenzing Norgay, the Tibetan mountaineer who became the first to summit Mount Everest alongside Sir Edmund Hillary in 1953.

With 13 days on the trail, including two dedicated acclimatisation days, the itinerary is designed to maximise our chances of reaching Base Camp safely and enjoying every step along the way.

From the rich culture of the Khumbu to the vibrant energy of Kathmandu, this expedition offers a deeper insight into Nepal, both in the mountains and beyond.
