You’ll have lots of time to relax and take photos, before waking early the next morning to see the sun rise over the mountains.

Annapurna Circuit

via nar and kang la

Level: 4 // Duration: 18 days
Perfect if you … want a blend of adventure and deep cultural immersion, and to experience our authentic twist on an iconic route!
An overhead shot of a remote and lush section of the Annapurna Circuit via Nar and Kang La, Nepal on a cloudy day

This 18-day expedition is our unique take on the traditional Annapurna Circuit, taking you off the beaten path into the hidden valleys of Nar and Phu, following trails that have been used by yak herders for centuries. These remote, culturally-rich areas were closed to foreigners until 2002, and still feel like a step back in time. Over 12 days of trekking you’ll journey through pine forests, cross suspension bridges, pass ancient Buddhist chortens, and gradually rise into a stark alpine landscape etched with prayer stones and weathered mani walls. You’ll also take on the challenge of crossing two high passes: the world-famous Thorong La Pass (5,416m), and the lesser-trekked Kang La Pass (5,320m), both offering unmissable views of the Annapurna massif.

You’ll still get to experience the highlights of the traditional Annapurna Circuit route, as well as visiting mountain villages along the trail and staying in locally-run tea houses each night. This trek is ideal for fit adventurers who want an extra physical challenge and more than just mountain views – it’s about deep immersion into the traditions, landscapes, and untouched corners of the Nepalese Himalayas. Before and after the trek, we also spend time in bustling Kathmandu, giving you the chance to explore Nepal’s other rich cultural heart – ancient temples, vibrant markets, and an atmosphere unlike anywhere else in the world.

Perfect if you… want to embark on a bucket-list trip and walk in the footsteps of adventuring legends!
Colourful Everest Base Camp marker, Nepal

Everest Base Camp (5,364m) is, understandably, one of our most popular trips! This expedition takes you along the historic route to Base Camp at the foot of the world’s tallest, and most iconic, mountain – Everest. We trek for 13 days, with two acclimatisation days – One each in Namche Bazaar and Pheriche. Not only will these help to prepare you for your ascent to Everest Base Camp, they’ll also allow you to experience a taste of Nepalese life. In addition, we encourage you to learn more about Sherpa culture, with visits to the Sherpa museum and the statue of Tenzing Norgay.

Each day of trekking offers incredible views of the towering Himalayas, and each evening ends in the warmth and welcoming atmosphere of a local tea house. Finally, you’ll spend some time in Kathmandu before flying home.

Three Passes Trek

Level: 6 // Duration: 23 days
Perfect if you… want to challenge yourself on a less travelled route to Everest Base Camp, and be rewarded with spectacular views!
View of Turquoise Gokyo lakes bathed in sunshine, Nepal

Introduced in 2024, our Three Passes expedition takes a far less traversed, circular route to Everest Base Camp. The journey will take you across the Renjo La (5,364m), Cho La (5,420), and Kongma La (5,535m) high passes, offering you extraordinary sights of the Khumbu region as you trek along uncrowded trails. We follow the traditional trading route with Tibet along the Bhote Khosi river, and take time to stop in the small villages of Thame and Lungden. The latter, along with the scenic hamlet of Gokyo Ri, and the bustling market town of Namche Bazaar are the locations of our three acclimatisation days.

You’ll also have the option to take on three non-technical peaks: Gokyo Ri (5,360m), Kala Patthar (5,550m), and Chhukung Ri (5,550m). For those who are willing to push themselves, the panoramas are truly awe-inspiring, and make all of the effort worth it.

Island Peak & Everest Base Camp

Level: 7 // Duration: 23 Days
Perfect if you… want to reach Everest Base Camp, then push yourself even further!
Climbers ascending Island Peak, Nepal

If reaching Everest Base Camp doesn’t totally satisfy your need for adventure, why not keep climbing? On our Island Peak & Everest Base Camp expedition, you’ll first spend 10 days trekking to the historic base camp, before beginning the ascent of Island Peak (6,189m). Also known as Imja Tse, it is often used as a training peak prior to summiting Everest.

The challenging summit night requires the use of crampons and axes in order to successfully traverse the snow and ice, as well as fixed ropes and ascenders in order to reach the summit ridge. Training and skills practice are incorporated into the itinerary in the days prior, in addition to acclimatisation and rest time, in order to ensure you have the best chance at a successful summit. Finally reaching the top, however, will make it all worthwhile, as you’ll be greeted by an extraordinary panorama of towering 7,000 and 8,000m peaks, the mountainous beasts of the Himalayas.

Mera Peak

Level: 7 // Duration: 28 days
Perfect if you … want to take on the formidable physical challenge that is Nepal’s highest trekking peak!
Mera Peak in mist, Nepal

Our Mera Peak expedition itinerary is expertly designed to ensure that you are properly acclimatised prior to your summit attempt. Although Mera Peak (6,476m) is a technically straightforward mountain to climb, the elevation gain places a huge physical demand on the body, compounded by often adverse weather conditions. This is why we opt for a less travelled route to Mera Peak Base Camp, across the Zatrwa La Pass (4,630m). We take time to stop in local villages for rest and a warm Nepalese welcome along the way.

Extra summit days are included should conditions be sub-optimal. But when the opportunity arises and you are able to finally complete your ascent, you’ll be treated to one of the most incredible views in the Himalayas. From the top of Mera Peak, it is possible to see an astonishing five of the world’s six highest peaks!
