Overview

Climb for a Cause 2027

100 leaders. 100 companies.
One summit. One shared purpose.

Join an extraordinary Kilimanjaro expedition with the goal of raising over €1 million for three amazing charities.

In October 2027, participants from across Ireland will come together to take on Africa’s highest mountain as part of an ambitious world record summit attempt in partnership with Guinness World Records.

This is more than an expedition.

It’s a challenge driven by purpose, resilience and impact.

Leadership Beyond Business

One hundred business leaders from a wide range of companies will unite for a challenge that goes far beyond business.

A 10-day expedition to Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak.

But this journey is about much more than reaching the summit.

It’s about leadership at its core – embracing resilience, courage, character, and stepping outside our comfort zones.

It’s about coming together, supporting one another through challenge, uncertainty and adversity. And most importantly, it’s about creating meaningful and lasting impact.

Together, participants will aim to raise over €1 million for three exceptional charities:

Each of these organisations is making a profound difference in the lives of people and families across Ireland through homelessness support, community initiatives, cancer awareness and prevention.

Every participant will commit to raising a minimum of €10,000, helping create tangible change while taking part in one of the most ambitious fundraising expeditions ever undertaken from Ireland.

Climbing Kilimanjaro

Our trek will follow the Machame route, and has been carefully designed to maximise acclimatisation and summit success while delivering an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Led by the highly experienced Earth’s Edge team, participants will receive expert support throughout every stage of the journey.

Imagine Standing On The Summit

Imagine standing at Kilimanjaro’s summit, nearly 5,900 metres above sea level, surrounded by 99 other leaders who share a drive not just to succeed, but to give back.

Imagine being part of a historic moment.

A potential world record, officially recognised by Guinness World Records, achieved not for personal recognition, but to create real impact for charities that change lives every day.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

A challenge that will push you physically and mentally, connect you with extraordinary people and leave a legacy that lasts far beyond the mountain itself.

100 leaders. 100 companies. One summit. One shared purpose.
